The answer’s simple enough: Donald Trump doesn’t think of black people as human beings. He, like a good many of his supporters, views them as a lesser species - human in appearance, but more akin to some degraded specimen of the genus homo of lesser or perhaps more primitive status.

Same as the so-called “race realists”, etc.
