We’re planing on doing the coast drive from SF to SD next Spring. We’ve been to Europe the past two years, and I’ve always wanted to go from one end of California to the other. We’ll do layovers in San Francisco, LA and San Diego to visit friends.

I’d suggest a layover in Santa Barbara between SF and LA if you’re going along the coast.
