First, we picked and chose the favorites (and discarded the detritus) of our youth. It’s easy to forget that there were songs like Fat Bottomed Girls . Sorry to bring that back:)
Second, these songs are the soundtrack of the most profound years of our lives. Today’s stuff may have some good songs, but they can’t compete with our memories.
