For all the folks claiming that a good guy with a gun could have stopped the shooter, I’d like to point out a news story from a couple of years ago.

Man shoots his ex-boss, is confronted by police on the street (in daylight, shooter directly in front of the police). Man gets killed by police. NINE bystanders shot by police accidentally during the gunfight.

So: daylight, clear view of shooter, multiple trained “good guys with guns”. Yes the shooter was killed, but nine innocents were shot by the police accidentally. With good light and no panicked crowds.

And we’re supposed to believe an untrained person, in the dark with innocents running in panic could just “drop” the shooter.

It must hurt being that stupid.
