Halon? I thought it was no longer in use. I’m familiar with it from Auto Racing Fire Suppression systems. Used to have a tank of it on our warehouse to refill fire bottles.

No, it’s still used. We have two Halon suppression systems at my place of employment. One is in the server room and a smaller one in a switch closet.
