Unfortunately the right’s exploited that feeling ever since Civil Rights became an issue. And for the life of me I don’t get why.

Because it works. It always works, like all the other wedge issues used to shatter the Left coalition. If that divisiveness is still in the forefront 18 months from now, all of our special interests can face the second Trump reich alone. Unite or die.
