Now, this story of a Dem-caused budget disaster I can call credible:

As usual, however, the NYT doesn’t note that the Democrats caused this mess. That’s OK, though, because the Chicago Tribune does note that and my extended family and I all make sure those we know understand who fouled up.

And if ANYONE wants to tell me the stimulus money helped create jobs, I call bullshit. I’ve been saying it for months, probably a year, that any money going to states would get eaten up by administrative costs, upper management and the good old boys contractors that have been in the pocket of state and local governments for years… if that stimulus money was really helping, was really being put to good use, then you couldn’t ever write a paragraph like this (from the NYT article)…

The federal dollars are nearly spent. Last month, local governments nationwide shed more than 20,000 jobs. Should the largest struggling states — like California, New York or Illinois — lay off tens of thousands more in coming months, or default on payments, the reverberations could badly damage a weakened economy and push housing prices down still further.

Stimulus my ass… funny money for the kleptocrats and plutocrats that run our country.
