Yeah. I mean, as an atheist, I could give a shit, really, but why don’t these people want their god to be a super-smart god who designs the whole universe?

Conversely, who the hell can believe in a good and just god who personally designed everything when you take a look at the animal kingdom and how goiddamn horrific it is, with all the parasitism and the rape. And the homosexuals, not that that’s a bad thing, except to them it is.

Orthodox Jews used to be fairly progressive about accepting evolution, but in the 1970’s some rabbi got a hold of Discovery Institute propaganda and started spreading it around like a virus.

And there was a witch hunt against this very devout and also scientific rabbi.
