Honestly, I believe this is really unnecessary in a non-Muslim country. The MSA were idiots to even suggest this knowing the tense climate involving Muslims in this country.

We all know when we need to pray for Friday prayers so this wasn’t necessary at all.

It’s not necessary for church bells to ring out on Sunday, either. This is a country of all religions and no religions.
