I just do not understand why they won’t delete the obviously false tweet. They know it is not true, is highly misleading, and that some people will read it and accept it as fact without bothering to click through and see that the article disproves the headline (even though the article itself is also highly misleading). There should not be a reduced standard for accuracy on social media. It disgusts me that AP is willing to sacrifice their journalistic integrity for the sake of click bait bullshit.
