I’m Chinese, and have been a U.S. resident for all but four years of my life. The Chinese Exclusion Act has been coming to mind often since the election. If he really does start an armed conflict with China, I fear Chinese abroad will be kept from immigrating to the U.S., and the Chinese within will have a dark shadow of suspicion cast upon us.
