Maybe, but I heard Sen. Murphy saying what if they guaranteed to take it to conference and we all went “whew” and then they reported the skinny bill out of conference. If the House passed that, we’d be in the soup. Better to stop this now.

Not that I think they will stop trying to fuck us over. But I think they think their best shot at redoing the tax code is to pass this first.
