That’s because none of these morans has ever taken an economics class. It’s easy to be a libertarian if you have no goddamn idea how an economy works.

I have a nephew who is old enough to know better and firmly believes that if corporations make more profits, they will hire more people and produce more goods which will be purchased by retailers. This will drive demand as people see all these goods in the stores and increase sales, thus stimulating the economy.

The fact that he can’t show where that has ever happened does not affect his belief.
