The reason given (to discredit the Jewish and pro-Jewish “counter-Jihadis”) is so braindead (I mean, if that was your goal, why tell now?) that I think rather this excuse is a ruse. But who knows what went and goes on in that disturbed brain.

Definitely sounds like a ruse.
