You know, earlier I wanted to say that the way this case felt was like that of a rape allegation, that the whole way it was handled felt like a prosecutor who was looking for some way to make it all go away by suggesting the victim just needed to forgive her rapist.
Well this:
Trump spox: Charge against top aide “hurts real cases of battery”https://t.co/vN4oWcg2WJ pic.twitter.com/3GbmAVS0c0
— Talking Points Memo (@TPM) April 14, 2016
“Anytime you see a woman claiming to be battered by a man, you should investigate, and that’s exactly what happened,” Pierson said on Fox Business Network, as quoted by The Hill. “Unfortunately, this was not the case, which actually hurts real cases of battery in this country, considering the magnitude and the scope of the publicity of this case.”
Only reinforces that feeling. There really is nothing quite as disgusting as the suggestions made so far that not only did Fields bring on Lewandowski’s actions through her own, but also that this case is a hoax that hurts other women.
