Not surprising at all.

The BernieBros have yet to really accept that Bernie was not a Democrat, ran outside of the party, and only gets re-elected because his small state (like other not very populous states) return incumbents.

VT, not unlike say Alaska, can toy with all sorts of silly fantasies because they can live off the security of being part of a nation composed of much more populated regions that carry on the economy and government.

Ultimately I think the American electorate will simply tire of all this insufferable whining (by whomever, not just the Berniebros.)
