I don’t see how this helps him, though. The shake-up in his administration is far more important than Stormy. If I was betting on this being a distraction, it’s distracting from Russian assassinations.

It’s Trump. He doesn’t think, he reacts. And he does it in ways he always used to do when he was a “great businessman.”

He loves to play the media, he thinks he can control the narratives about him to either increase or decrease attention surrounding him.

And I don’t think we should downplay Stormy’s story. It may also be one to add to bring him down. It may tell the tale of how Trump pays off bribes which can help that Russian investigation. It could show a pattern of Trump moves to get out of jams.
