I had a less vitriolic exchange with him about the question of Eve and original sin, in which he insisted that ALL of Christianity was misogynist because ALL of Christianity blamed Eve for the Fall. I think I got him to the point of backing away from ALL.

I doubt it honestly. He seems to see Christians as monolithic block and if 1 believes a idiotic bit of bad theology, then we all do. Sorry but ask 10 Anglicans about the doctrine of original sin and get 24 opinions :)
