I read in an interview here on Czech media with a local epidemiologist, who reckoned that China would be racking up 500,000+ new cases a day if they didn’t pursue their “Zero COVID” strategy.

Zero COVID strategy…now why didn’t we think of that? Also, as I scrolled down the chart, Botswana, one of the newly banned countries because of Omicron, has a 464 cases in the last seven days…less than 70/day.
