While discussing the cat puking episode last night, I realized that I have developed the skill of waking from a dead sleep when the cat starts preliminary hurling heaves, grabbing nearby dirty clothing, and placing in the garment into the impact zone. I am successful 4 out of 5 times. Sometimes I flail helplessly for something to put in place, or even to find the damn cat.
