Speaking of library books.

I live/work about 4-5 blocks from a large city library. (Philadelphia Main Branch of the Free Library.) And I never go there. I have a card and everything. However, the branch closes at 5pm and is not open on weekends.

Simply not good hours unless I want to use my lunch break to go over there and peruse books. And doing research work is essentially impossible for the same issues.

Why does it close at 5pm?
