It tweets:
You’re spewing nonsense because you know that you too committed multiple felonies on tax laws, and you broke far more laws.
Manafort was scum and you wanted him as your campaign manager because he was scum. He was your kind of scum.— lawhawk (@lawhawk) August 22, 2018
Trump had a delay this morning in tweeting, and now he’s off to the races. Tweeting about how Cohen is such a bad lawyer (Trump hired only the best people. The best!)
If anyone is looking for a good lawyer, I would strongly suggest that you don’t retain the services of Michael Cohen!

There’s a tweet for every occasion. You used Russian foreign agents to help you steal the election outcome.

Trump knows the walls are closing in and he’s now going to lash out and claim that Manafort was railroaded and that he’s a brave man? He’s a convicted felon.
It’s also signaling that Trump might pardon since that’s the kind of language he used around Dinesh de felon and Joe Arpaio before he pardoned those two fuckers.
Pardoning Manafort isn’t the win Trump thinks it would be. It opens up the door to even more trouble, since Manafort could then be compelled to testify and there’s no 5A assertions on the crimes for which he was pardoned. Manafort could then spill the beans on Trump and what he knows - which isn’t covered by the 5A unless he’s incriminating himself in still more crimes in conjunction with the complicit Trump.
It’s crimes all the way down in Trumpworld.
So of course Fox will spin this as though the FBI is somehow conspiring with the DOJ (yeah, this was an actual thing last night):
Hannity and Fox are so desperate to change the subject away from a pair of guilty Trump cons: Manafort and Cohen, that they’ll bring on a Fabulist like Sara Carter to claim the FBI is conspiring with the DOJ.
Idiots want people to ignore that the FBI is part of the DOJ.— lawhawk (@lawhawk) August 22, 2018
