It to me has always been disturbing how Trump even publicly takes Putin’s word at face value and no one in his party calls it out for how absurd it is. It’s hard to know whether Trump is that naive or he really is that heavily influenced by Putin and he’s saying it aloud that he takes Putin’s word over the IC and he’s fine with advancing Putin’s interests. One thing is for sure he definitely doesn’t know the history of that region.
