His only realistic hope is that his lawyers can challenge enough absentee ballots in states where the margins are thin to claim “victory.” The courts are not going to order states to stop counting, and it’s very likely states that they try to do so to will flip them off and keep the machines running. And even this strategy only has a hope if turnout is at or lower than it was in 2016. If it’s like 2018 was or higher, then even that strategy will not work for him, only reduce how large a loss he suffers.

His lawyer team will be working full-tilt to find “irregularities” and technicalities to get the results thrown out and reviewed in court.
