If the state(s) would require insurance companies to cover such things as mental health (although I’m glad mine does), addictions, hairplugs, etc. people could get reasonable coverage for a reasonable price.

Alas, that would mean people would be responsible for their decision to decline such coverage and we know how the state feels about that.

The people might start getting uppity and thinking they don’t need so much government.
