Uh, that other guy beat my boy Glambert and WON American Idol, believe it or not. His name is Kris Allen. I guess he and Adam Lambert were roommates during the season, and became good friends. Nothing against Kris Allen, but for that type of song, Lambert threw down the gauntlet, and it showed. He owned it.

Absolutely. It wasn’t even a contest. In fact, per your advice I wasn’t really watching the video when it started, but as soon as Glambert opened his mouth I immediately snapped to attention involuntarily.

Pity he didn’t win, but I’ve never been able to decipher AI’s judging criteria anyway.
