Can you see the water personally from where you are?

I live maybe 1000 yards from the ocean but cannot directly see a beach or surf. I usually hear waves when there’s a swell or storm, but barely otherwise.

I live 25 miles south of the Waikoloa cam feed, so the surge would hit here first.
