The GOP will not nominate Palin. Take it to the bank.

Obama can win almost effortlessly, but there is the possibility that he will manage to snatch defeat from the jaws of victory. It’s his economy, his war, his Gulf, his medical reconfiguration, his Iran nuclear crisis, everything. There is a limit to the number of failures any president can explain away. Something, somewhere, has to actually go right.

Well, to those failure I would say:

1. The economy is in current state of recovery and was said to start a true recovery in 2011.
2. The war is still ongoing.
3. The “medical reconfiguration” has yet to come into full effect so we really don’t know the benefits yet.
4. The Iran nuclear crisis is currently ongoing and they now face stronger sanctions.
5. The Gulf Oils spill was BPs fault but that being said the projected stoppage is sometimes around August.

Most of this is ongoing. Americans will only care about one thing and that’s the economy.
