My prediction tonight (since I just got done watching Tora! Tora! Tora! and was thinking about all of what happened after that…):

Trump will make good on his promise to “bomb the hell outta ISIS!” by using nuclear weapons and then bragging about it from the East Wing. His popularity in the US will go over 50%.

TV will show horrific pictures of flash blinded kids, massive keloid burns on the dead and dying, and maps will show the radiation plumes spreading into Turkey, Kurdistan and Iran.

The Middle East will consider this a declaration of war against Islam, and our allies will know we cannot be trusted for anything or with anything and begin to arrange world affairs without us. We will be international pariahs. Our diplomats will be ignored and our promises will be unheeded.

The Age of America will end. This will now be the century of Chinese ascendancy…and half of America will be applauding as China makes the red Trump hats they wear.
