Still, I am skeptical about the ‘lulz’ angle since it does not angle towards sensationalism. ‘Lulz’ types would almost certainly want to put out real nasty stuff about Melania or Kellyanne to get more attention…but as others here have noted, the info on the account seems pretty much in line with what we have already seen in most of these characters.

So Occam does apply to some degree. If real, it confirms what we already actually know from other sources for the most part aside from some minor anecdotes.

If fictional and meant to serve a purpose, the purpose is so obscure at this point as to defy description right now (which might go along with the inner power struggle theory if we are not actually the target audience)

If not meant to serve any purpose and not sensational, then you really do get into why somebody would bother? Again, the broader strokes are already being leaked to major newspapers anyway. This why I think the razor cuts the way it does (built in assumption the the writer is a rational actor with rational motivation)
