5/ Democrats in December had a 15-point advantage in generic Congressional ballot, 51% to 36%.
Today it’s only a 2 percentage-point edge, 47% to 45% among registered voters.

From the perspective of an apathetic, low-information voter, the economy is improving, their taxes may be going down, Trump hasn’t started a new war & Dems aren’t offering much difference.
