re: #4 Charles Johnson
If Whitaker is now supervising the Mueller investigation, any final report by Mueller will go to Whitaker, who could decline to make it public or transmit it to Congress. But the House Intel Committee could subpoena it and anyone involved in preparing it. https://t.co/32QnZLV6d0

Trump is acting like a guilty goon with an attempt to kneecap the investigation into his malfeasance.
He’s acting like a tinpot dictator, not POTUS.
Time for Congress and the Justice Department to treat him accordingly. Of course, the GOP is more than happy to rubber stamp this https://t.co/oZmr8Lm6yR— lawhawk (@lawhawk) November 7, 2018
First, he forced Sessions to resign. That’s known as firing someone. Congress should demand answers on this, since the nature of separation from office is critical as to who has the right to fill the position.
Second, Whitaker should recuse because he’s already expressed an opinion about how Mueller has already gone too far (sorry pal, but he hasn’t - objectively he’s stayed within his mandate). Trump is hoping to kneecap the investigation by any means necessary.
None of this is normal. None of this is on the up and up, and none of this should be tolerated by a Congress that upholds the Constitution. The GOP doesn’t give a shit about any of this, because they got what they wanted - a judiciary packed with right wing extremists, and Trump rolling back regulations and shifting the burdens on to those least able to endure them so millionaires can get richer.
