Germany just broke heat records today for June, 38.6°C or 101.5°F.

I should think nothing of it, coming from Arizona, but it has been terribly humid and domestic AC is all but unknown here. Fortunately I live in an old reconverted farmhouse that keeps out most of the heat and it cools off here to around 70°F at night.
