The biggest obstacle is that just don’t see him trusting Pence to pardon him after resigning. I mean, I wouldn’t.

But yeah, it would definitely play well with a certain element of the cult how Trump sacrificed everything including his health and the Democrats were just so unfair and mean that his body finally gave out under the stress of MAGAing so hard.

For sure: but this fable would probably only last as long as it takes a picture of “poor worn-out old Donald” cavorting around a golf course somewhere to hit the Internet.

But I’m also sure his cultists would move right on to some other bitter gripe…..
