All of the Republicans who are saying they’ll accept the election results and perform other positive signs towards supporting the transition are merely trying to gain creds to be the leader of the realist, non-cultist, grotesquely self-interested part of the Republican coalition for 2024. Nothing more.

All the GOPers who are saying they’ll accept the results are fucking cowards who aren’t openly calling Trump’s criminal conduct into question. They are doing less than the bare minimum because they’re cowards afraid of Trump, the right wing extremists that form the base of the GOP, and the propagandists at Fox/OAN that’ll treat them as RINOs.

This party is dead - fascist fuckers who are morally bankrupt, corrupt, and incompetent. They care about permanent power and maximizing wealth for millionaires and burden shifting to everyone else. Everything they do is in furtherance of those goals, including the disenfranchisement of persons of color, who are the reliable core of the Democratic party.
