For my bday last month my mom gave me a photo album with the only old pics we have of my bloodline. I found something interesting (my great-great-grandfather survived a year in Andersonville) that led me to a genealogy page from a distant cousin in OH. From there I found out that all the direct males in my bloodline lived to almost 90 (unless they died in an accident) and none of them had kids before they were 30. Kind of weird.
