I can’t find data for UNC Chapel Hill where Foxx went to school and got her undergraduate degree in 1968, but here is a historical tuition cost chart for the University of Virginia. The oldest school year on that chart is 1970-71, with a yearly tuition cost of $330. If we correct for inflation that comes out to $1831.94 in 2010 dollars while Virginia tuition for the 2010-11 was $8356, meaning the real cost of tuition alone has outstripped inflation by 456% in that time frame.
