Too bad. I looked her up and Mona Eltahawy seems like like an ok person at first glance. I expected her to be a Mondowiess idiot or Islamist but she seems all right except her unwillingness to let others run ads without defacing them.

Sounds like a civil disobedience thing. She feels strongly enough about it to face arrest and fines. Not like she is advocating violence against those who bought the ads.
