The right has developed a well-honed, well-rehearsed, scarily efficient Demonization Machine, and they use it to push their agenda into mainstream media very successfully.

And it works. The ratings go up. So, why would the media not feed it?

Sometime Saturday morning, some think-tank group somewhere figured out the way they could turn this story into possibly the worst fuck-up in the Obama administration ever. This is his Bill Clinton moment…we have him now. The IRS and Benghazi were to do it, bring Obama down. But they didn’t. This is our opportunity. It has all the good juicy bits.

So, they must see a chance here. A chance they think they can use like no other. By this weekend, this will be a national security problem…Obama selling out this country to the Taliban. High Crimes and Misdemeanors.

Alan West is the day’s test dummy. They have floated out the real plan on his blog (and probably others) as was posted here at LGF in the last thread.

This will be an attempt at an impeachment.

Hope I’m wrong…but this is too pat. The quick turn by everyone to clear history and backtrack too coordinated. The talking points are out and they are sticking to it. This is the real Republican party at work.
