Sheesh! I wonder how many fools let this get by them in the editorial process and how many of them are still employed?

That ad was done by an ad agency I’m pretty sure. So, it wouldn’t be editors so much. They would be part of the “creatives” in the agency. Copy writers and designers put that all together and the account reps had to sell Bloomingdale’s. And all through the process no one grew a brain.
