Trump’s infrastructure plan is a farce, and it’s fleecing of the public good in favor of pushing wealth to the rich.

That’s not what FDR’s infrastructure plans were.

Let’s see what FDR plans built:

WPA - everything from things like Jones Beach, National Park System infrastructure, bridges and tunnels from the Triborough Bridge, to the parkways.

CCC - National Park infrastructure, etc.

REA - national electrification project.

TVA - supplies water and power to much of the Southeast (and provided power to Oak Ridge, which enabled construction of Manhattan Project and post-war nuclear research/manufacturing facilities

Etc.

GOP solution at the time was…. crickets.
