There was an article which I can’t for the life of me find right now, but it had a fascinating (and sadly accurate) thesis - voters who were terrified at the prospect of trump winning paradoxically blamed HRC for not doing/being enough to assuage their fears. (I wish I could remember the keywords to find it again, but it had to do with sexism as well - something to the effect of HRC as maternal figure and seen as failing to provide adequate comfort)

So maybe we’re seeing a similar dynamic play out now - instead of recognizing HRC’s warnings as being true, even people who voted for her are blaming her for not doing enough to stop trump (to be fair, there *is* merit in some of the complaints, as our own Decatur Deb confirmed. Myself, I’m tempted to blame Robby Mook, because how the fuck did he NOT see that as a problem?? Or this??? And I’ve had acquaintances - even one who wasn’t a BoB - tell me things like, “the Democratic party’s arrogance and incompetence gave us trump” :/ )
