They think Trump is the model of masculinity. I will never get why. I mean I wasn’t a supporter of John McCain the politician but John McCain the man was much more admirable and badass than Trump will ever be. We’re talking about a guy who cries about how unfair SNL is to him.

People thought that John Wayne and Ronald Reagan were models of masculinity even though, unlike Jimmy Stewart, neither served during World War 2 (yes — I know — Reagan was in the military, but as a performer safe in the United States, and not in any combat role). It’s irritating, but true regardless of party, that people are judged by how they look rather than their real accomplishments.
