Your sources said the same thing I said. There may be now audio recording of the meetings but Bin Laden was “almost certainly” (I beleive that was the term used in your link) offered asylum by Saddam. I seem to recall there are actual quotes from Saddam’s public statements in news stories from the time . If it’s important to you then you can look for them.

“Almost certainly” = speculation. There was also “they cannot be certain what was discussed”.

The later intelligence committee report doesn’t support these old speculations.
