I worry what is going to happen with all these nuts with guns if we see another natural and/or man-made catastrophe that hamstrings civil authority over a large or populated area and compels the government to declare martial law.

I fear that these idiots will see this as a government attempt to seize power and come out shooting at everything they see as suspicious or threatening. And we know what color those people are…

And those people are stockpiling guns, too. I mean, 9 guns for every 10 of us in the US? WTF? Movies aside, you can only use 1 gun at a time, and I suspect certain organizations are using their some members to arm themselves heavily. My son recently bought a hand gun because he lives in a working class neighborhood that has seen some burglaries and recently had a confrontation with some crack addicts who live 2 doors down (including their pit bull). Sadly, one of those crack addicts is a woman he had a relationship with in the past when they were young (they’re both in their 50s now). He’s seen so many of his contemporaries die and/or succumb to addiction, it’s truly sad.
