Yeah, I know. Even at the time I knew I’d be laughing about it later but I didn’t even have a jacket on and it was freezing out. The gas station attendant didn’t speak much English and there was no pay phone, even if I’d had change for one. Plus, I was covered with bourbon based BBQ sauce that looked like blood splatter on my leggings and sweatshirt.
