From what I remember, when we went out in the neighborhood the only “costume” I wore was one of those cheap masks. Sometimes they came with those silly pull-over wear, but I don’t remember wearing that stuff.

First “costumes” my brother and I wore were cut-out masks that came on the backs of Wheaties boxes when Halloween was getting near. I seem to remember generic Indian, Pioneer, Pirate, and Colonial Soldier.
