I’m not sure. She was once a campaign treasurer for a Libertarian US House candidate in Colorado (before I met her, a fellow named Keith Hamburger). I think the issue is she’d rather retain the title of a third party member.

She holds many of the same political positions I do (and for the same reason). I think her positions have changed on fiscal issues and taxation as she grew older.

For this election cycle, we received a bumper sticker in the mail this morning she requested for Democratic US Senate candidate Jane Raybould. She’s already decided she won’t support the LP candidate for the US Senate (one has not announced as far as I can determine yet).

Mrs. FBW was briefly Libertarian. Then she asked, “How do you build and manage the roads?” and the usual Libertarian handwaving about ‘landowners would build them and users would pay a fee’ revealed the lack of thought at the heart of Libertarianism.
