Of course. There has to be a backup in case of disaster. While I think she’s too egotistical and too much woo for the Russians, I wouldn’t be surprised if she has an advisor or two who does have unknowingly to her-those ties. Experienced campaign help is hard to find, and one who actually thinks she has a real chance of getting something even harder. So who knows? If Tulsi has to drop out for some reason totally, perhaps Marianne could fill a gap of some sort.

And she has no electoral experience at all-which makes her even more manipulable by experts with their own agenda. Why not run for school board, Marianne? But running for school board first means engaging in the real world of budgets and neighbors, and possibly having to deal with them as equals. Nothing is more humbling I bet than having to deal with toilet replacement alottments and plowing through levy receipts.
