Plus everything Democrats accomplish, Republicans rush right home and take credit for.

Those who don’t closely follow politics don’t realise that their representative or senator voted against those things. They just see money coming in for local projects and their representative or senator claiming they worked to get that.

Right now here there is a project to widen US-385 between Bridgeport and Alliance. That money comes from Democratic bills, but my rep is right out front claiming credit for it. The regional newspaper doesn’t report he had nothing to do with it, nor do local radio stations.
